Data Collection

Loop Scout does not collect, store, or process personal data from visitors. There are no cookies, no analytics scripts, no tracking scripts, and no user accounts.

Third-Party and Preview Media

Listing pages load a first-party WebP poster when one exists. Otherwise they request a smaller still: a hotlinked JPEG from preview.redd.it or external-preview.redd.it, or an edge-resized still of an i.redd.it or Imaglr image. A direct GIF, MP4, or WebM file is requested from the source CDN only when that card is near the viewport or the visitor plays it. A post page requests the original animation from the source CDN, a RedGifs iframe, or the still image. A first-party static poster loads first when one exists. Visitors who prefer reduced motion start listing playback manually. Reddit, Imaglr, and RedGifs may log those requests under their own privacy policies.
